AMA Funding
How it works

Four steps, and you can stop at any of them

Nothing here obligates you until you sign a funder's agreement, and we will tell you before you get to that point.

  1. Tell us the basics

Business name, what it does, roughly what it earns, how long it has been running. Two minutes on the form or five on the phone.

  2. We look at the file

We tell you which structures are realistic for a business like yours, and which are not worth your time. If nothing fits, we say so.

  3. You see the range

If funders come back with offers, you see exactly what they are willing to do and what it costs, in writing, before anything is signed. If none of them will, we tell you that instead.

  4. Funding

If you go ahead, the funder handles the agreement and the money moves. Timing depends on the structure.

What we need from you

To start, nothing but the basics on the form. No documents, no credit pull, no commitment.

To take a file to funders, most will want recent business bank statements — usually three to six months. Some ask for a driver's licence, a voided check, or a copy of your lease. Larger or longer-term structures involve more: tax returns, financial statements, and in some cases a personal credit check.

How documents reach us. Through a secure upload or directly to the funder's own system. We will never ask you to send a Social Security number, bank login or account number by text message, and you should treat anyone who does — including anyone claiming to be us — as a fraud attempt.

How long it takes

An advance or a factoring line can typically move in a few business days once statements are in. A line of credit or an equipment deal usually takes longer, and a full term loan is generally measured in weeks rather than days. Timelines depend on the funder and on how the file looks — we will give you a realistic one for yours rather than the fastest on the page.

How we are paid

You pay us nothing up front — not to apply, not to review, not to shop the file. No application fee, no retainer, no consultation fee. We are paid by the funder when a file closes. Florida's Commercial Financing Disclosure Law restricts what a commercial financing broker may charge a business up front, and we would not charge you regardless.

To be straight about the economics: broker compensation in this industry is usually built into the funder's pricing rather than billed to you separately, so it is not the same thing as the money costing you nothing. Where our compensation affects what you are quoted, ask and we will tell you.

Because we are paid by funders, it is fair to ask whether that biases which one we recommend. It could, at a desk that works that way. Our policy is to show you the full range that comes back, including the option that pays us least, and to say so when the sensible answer is to take nothing at all.

What happens to your information

We share your business information with funders so they can tell us what they would offer — that is the service. We do not sell your information, and we never share mobile numbers or text-message consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing. The only others that touch them are the vendors that run our systems, under contract and only to provide those systems. The detail is in our Privacy Policy.

Find out where you stand

Two minutes, no documents, no obligation. If nothing fits, we will tell you that too.
